Vera's Shell Copper Bracelet

There is a quiet grace in wearing something that carries the shape of a living thing.

I shaped this copper band and hand-formed the delicate flower at the end, finishing the piece exactly as I have for decades.

Men and women have worn copper against their skin for thousands of years, and the solid weight serves as a steady reminder of warmth through the day.

This is one of the last floral cuffs I’ll make before I close my workshop. I hope it finds the right wrist.
