Vera's Elk Copper Bracelet

There's something steady about this one a kind of quiet strength you feel before you can name it.

I braided this cuff by hand, strand by strand, working each copper wire into the weave the same way I've done for decades. It takes longer than a single piece of metal ever would, but you can feel the difference in how it moves with your wrist instead of against it.

People who wear copper close to the skin tend to keep wearing it it's a practice that goes back further than either of us. I've never had to talk anyone into it twice.
