Vera's Elm Copper Cuff Bracelet

There's a steadiness to this one  the kind you feel before you can name it.

I braid the wire by hand, strand over strand, the same way my grandmother taught me to weave a hitch knot before I could reach the top of her workbench.

Copper's been on wrists for longer than anyone's kept count, and the people who wear it tend to keep wearing it.

This is one of the last cuffs I'll shape before the workshop closes for good.

I hope it finds its way to the right wrist.
