Vera's Reed Copper Bracelet

There is a quiet comfort in wearing something woven by hand.

I braided the solid copper wires together, securing the ends with a seamless clasp that closes quietly and securely.

People have worn copper against their skin for thousands of years, and the open weave keeps it light enough to forget you are wearing it.

This is one of the last woven pieces I’ll make before I close my workshop. I hope it finds the right wrist.
