Vera's River Copper Bracelet

There is a quiet steadiness in wearing something completely unbroken.

I shaped this solid copper band and polished it by hand until it felt smooth as a river stone against the skin.

Men and women have worn copper against their skin for thousands of years, keeping the metal close for its quiet warmth.

This is one of the last smooth cuffs I’ll make before I close my workshop. I hope it finds the right wrist.
