There's something about the way overlapping strands hold their shape each one on its own, all of them together. That's what this piece reminded me of the whole time I was making it.

I wound six threads of copper side by side, faceted each one by hand so they'd catch the light differently depending on how you turn your wrist, then bound the ends tight with coiled wire before rounding off the caps.

Copper's been worn against skin for thousands of years, long before anyone thought to bottle a remedy for anything. I didn't invent that. I just kept doing what my hands know.

This one's an open cuff, so it settles onto most wrists with a little adjusting no clasp, no fuss.

Material: 99.9% Pure Copper.
